Is there a tutorial thread somewhere for cloning voices? I know ElevenLabs costs money to use, and not sure if any free alternatives are comparable yet.

Play HT was the best. The voice accuracy was on point plus there was nothing to prevent celebrity voices from being used like ElevenLabs currently uses. EL is great when it comes to emotion and natural sounding but in terms of replicating voices, its not that good. ResembleAI isn't bad but it still sounds robotic.

Cloning a voice can take a bit of time and research. You'll want to find a sit down interview (ie not an awards show with background noise) where the person you want to clone gives long answers without interruption, like Zane Lowe interviews if its an artist you're after. Note down the time stamps of when long answers are given. Download the video in mp3 format then upload the file to a website or app that does audio editing. Go to the time stamps and cut out the audio of just the person talking and that should give you a clean sample to work with. Now its ready to use with whatever voice cloning site you choose.
