Simp Chat Twitch Nipslips & Just Chatting streamers - Discussion Thread

They either have ai scanning for nsfw or its the same thing that happened with b*tharon****. When that vod was missing from streamrecorder I suspected that streamrecorder has no ability to pull vods that get deleted/made non visible from twitch's backend. I tested when I was looking for a vod that I know for sure was deleted/not set up to auto post from another streamer and was able to pull it using the vodrecovery tool but stream recorder to this day never made it available.

Doesn't streamrecorder record as the live stream is happening though? I thought streamrecorder was an entirely separate entity from the platforms it records from but you might be right that they could be linked somehow.

Or maybe it's possible you can just contact the admin to have a vod taken down.

That's likely what's happening.

For anyone having issues, or if you want to question the Admin team about whether or not they delete vods for whatever reason, you can always join their Discord server.

They probably do remove on request, but I doubt 5 viewer streamers like lysabum who barely know anything about twitch or streaming in general knows to ask streamrecorder to remove those vods. I also tested trying to get that full beth vod from vodrecovery, it can see the vod when it interacts with twitch's api even if it after it was deleted but it can't actually pull it. I'm guessing twitch changed something with their api or how they handle deleted vods, the date for some deleted vods are set to the year like 2137 or something.

Streamrecorder probably does the same thing yt-dlp does, it touches twitch's api to get m3u8 links and then sequences them into a viewable video.
