The most egregious thing about the Zen drama is these people lack of awareness… they worry about military aesthetic that can represent Nazism, fair. But where is there anger for Loli representation in the space? Hypocrisy, that’s all it is, false virtue signaling to gather attention.

But to be real they all pretend they look like little girls irl so their avatar isn’t a child, it’s a digitized version of themselves. It’s obvious pedobait but who cares. It’s all make believe BS.

What are you talking about? There's monthly posting about "loli-baiters" and "appealing to pedophiles" within the vtubing space. Most of the time they get called tourists regardless of what they're saying.

This is also somewhat true. Lolibaiting is irritating and damaging to some level, but not really nearly as big as a problem as the alternative here.
There's also the problem that after the "we're not really nazis, but at the end of the day we are" vtubing group, people been SPECIALLY sensitive to dog whistles within the hobby and community, so while, again, Ion think about everything military is immediately nazi-inspired, I'll say it again, the timing was crap. Maybe a few months down the line it wouldn't have raised this much of a stink, but right now, I do feel it became a lack of awareness kind of situation.

Timing awareness would be the first thing, things could have been handled so much better after she came under attack... Sometimes I think once you're big and public enough, you should attend public relations classes, if not hire a firm
