I mean that's fine as long as they're upfront about it. Pausing subs would be ideal but as long as they don't string you along with false expectations It's fine. For example Succuguts said she's having a rough time with life and work and would be mostly pausing lewd content. That's pretty upfront. But I'm glad I haven't been paying a hoejousama sub to get weeks of dead silence. (Edit: i know she had good reasons. Just an example)
